Daily Chartbook is Going Paid
Starting November 1
453 days ago, I sent a newsletter containing a dozen or so charts to exactly zero subscribers.
300 newsletters and 8,686 charts later, more than 11,500 of you now receive Daily Chartbook in your inbox every weeknight.
To say that I’ve been blown away by the reception and continued support would be an understatement.
Thank you, truly.
With that said, producing the newsletter is—as I’m sure many of you suspect—a time-consuming endeavor.
Publishing it consistently—a quality I hope I have proven to you by delivering 5 posts every week over the past 15 months—requires non-stop work and dedication.
For these reasons, I’ve decided it’s time for Daily Chartbook to go paid.
What does this mean?
The newsletter will go out to all subscribers, as usual, through October.
Starting November 1, the newsletter will be sent only to premium (paid) subscribers.
Monthly: $25 ($300 per year)
Annual: $250 (get two months off)
For group/company subscriptions of 4 or more, please reach out at firstname.lastname@example.org.
To ensure a smooth transition, you can pledge your support by heading to the website and clicking the “Pledge your support” button at the top of the page. There, you can select your subscription option (monthly vs. annual) and enter your payment information. On November 1, all pledges will automatically be converted into premium subscriptions.
Alternatively, you can wait until November 1 or after to upgrade.
Note: if you pledge your support, you will not be charged until November 1, which is the day your subscription will begin.
Also on November 1, Daily Chartbook will debut “DC Lite”, a free, entry-level newsletter containing 5 of the day’s best charts and insights.
DC Lite will similarly be published every weeknight at 8 pm EST and represents a great option for readers unsure about upgrading, or for those new to Daily Chartbook.
To subscribe to DC Lite, click here and check the box to opt-in. If that doesn’t work, head over to the website and navigate to “Manage your subscription” by clicking on your profile image at the top right of the screen. There you will have the option to opt-in to the newsletter.
Note: this must be done manually; you will NOT be opted-in to DC Lite automatically.
I want to thank you all for subscribing, and for all the kind words and positive feedback I’ve received since starting the newsletter.
Confirmation that you are delivering value is a wonderful feeling, and you have given that to me.
Again, thank you.
